Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website https://www.legendsgolftours.com ("the Site") and form the basis of your contract with Travel With Legends Ltd, trading as Legends Golf Tours ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site or booking any travel services with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Definitions
Official Confirmation Date: The date on or before which Legends Golf Tours will notify you in writing whether a tour will operate (subject to minimum participation) or be cancelled.
Down Payment (Holding Fee): A fully refundable payment will be taken and this reserves your spot pending confirmation of the tour on or before the Official Confirmation Date.
Confirmation Notice & Invoice: Written notice that a tour is confirmed to operate, accompanied by an invoice setting out the Deposit Amount and balance payment schedule.
Deposit Amount: The deposit specified on your Confirmation Invoice, credited with any Down Payment already made. The Deposit Amount becomes non-refundable once the tour is confirmed.

Travel With Legends Ltd is a company registered in South Africa.

Jurisdiction: South African law governs all contractual matters, and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
Making Your Booking
By making a reservation or booking enquiry, the lead passenger confirms that they:
(a) are over 18 and have authority to act on behalf of all listed passengers;
(b) have read and agreed to these Terms;
(c) accept financial responsibility for the booking; and
(d) consent to the use of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
EOI Reservation: An initial reservation made with the Down Payment is an expression of interest and does not create a binding contract. Your booking becomes binding only when we issue a Confirmation Notice & Invoice on or before the Official Confirmation Date. Please check your invoice carefully and notify us of any errors within 14 days.
Booking & Payment Terms
(a) Down Payment (Holding Fee): To reserve your place, pay a fully refundable Down Payment. This payment is held by Legends Golf Tours and is refundable in full if the tour is not confirmed on or before the Official Confirmation Date.
(b) Tour Confirmation: If minimum participation is met, we will issue a Confirmation Notice & Invoice on or before the Official Confirmation Date.
(c) Deposit Amount (post-confirmation): The Confirmation Invoice will be for 50% of the total tour price and the Down Payment will be credited toward the Deposit Amount stated on your Confirmation Invoice. The Deposit Amount is non-refundable once the tour is confirmed. Payment of the Deposit Amount must be made by the deadline stated on your Confirmation Invoice.
(d) Balance: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 90 days prior to the tour start date. Failure to meet this deadline may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the Deposit Amount.
(e) Flights & External Arrangements: Do not book non-refundable flights or make other inflexible arrangements until you receive written confirmation on or before the Official Confirmation Date.
Cancellation by You
Cancellations must be submitted in writing and acknowledged by Legends Golf Tours. The following charges apply per person:
(a) Before the Official Confirmation Date: Full refund of the Down Payment.
(b) After confirmation and more than 90 days before departure: Deposit Amount forfeited; any additional balance paid is refunded.
(c) 90 days or fewer before departure: 100% of the total tour cost is non-refundable.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover (see Clause 8).
Your Contract
Your contract is formed upon our issuance of the Confirmation Notice & Invoice on or before the Official Confirmation Date. South African law applies exclusively, and all disputes shall be handled by the South African courts.
Pricing and Exchange Rates
All prices are based on current exchange rates and supplier costs. We reserve the right to adjust pricing due to fuel surcharges, taxes, or currency fluctuations. We will absorb increases up to 2%; any increase above this may be charged to you.
Amendments by You
If you need to make changes after confirmation, notify us in writing. While we will assist where possible, changes may incur a fee of £100 per person, plus any supplier charges. Late changes may be treated as cancellations (see Clause 3).
No-Shows & Unused Services
No refunds are given for no-shows, early departures, or services not used by you for any reason once the tour has commenced.
Insurance
You must take out adequate travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment (including pre-existing conditions if applicable), personal liability, and baggage. We are not responsible for losses due to insufficient insurance and may require proof of adequate cover before travel documents are issued.
Changes or Cancellations by Us (including Minimum Participation)
We may make minor changes to the itinerary where reasonably required. In the rare case of significant changes or cancellation (including where the tour fails to reach minimum participation), we will notify you on or before the Official Confirmation Date (or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter in exceptional cases) and offer you the choice of:
(a) an alternative of equal or greater value (subject to availability);
(b) a lower-cost alternative with a refund of any price difference; or
(c) a 100% immediate refund of all monies paid to Legends Golf Tours if no alternative is acceptable.
We are not liable for external costs (e.g., flights) you incur where booked contrary to Clause 2(e).
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, wars, strikes, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.
Third-Party Services and Excursions
Any excursions or activities booked outside of our package—even if recommended by us—are not our responsibility. We accept no liability for third-party experiences.
Golf Course Conditions and Tee Times
We will use reasonable efforts to secure agreed tee times; however, courses may adjust schedules for maintenance or member events. Conditions (e.g., aeration, weather, buggy availability) may change without notice. Flexibility is required. No refunds are given unless a supplier provides compensation that we are able to pass on.
Legend Participation
While Legends Golf Tours makes every effort to ensure attendance of the advertised golf legend(s), participation is subject to availability and may be affected by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, injury, travel disruption, personal emergencies).
If a scheduled legend is unable to attend, we will arrange a replacement of similar stature wherever possible. The participation of any specific legend is not guaranteed and does not constitute a material part of the contract.
If no replacement is available and we determine that the absence significantly affects the nature of the experience, a 15% refund of the total tour cost may be offered as a gesture of goodwill, at our sole discretion. No compensation or refund will be provided if a suitable replacement legend participates.
Complaints
Report problems immediately to our local agent or supplier so that we can attempt to resolve them. If unresolved, submit your complaint in writing within 28 days of your return. We may be unable to consider complaints submitted outside this timeframe unless exceptional circumstances apply.
Behaviour and Conduct
We reserve the right to terminate your participation in a tour without refund if your behaviour causes danger, distress, or damage. You will be liable for any resulting claims or costs.
Supplier Conditions
Many services are provided by independent suppliers whose terms and limitations of liability apply in addition to our own.
Special Requests and Medical Conditions
All special requests (e.g., room preferences, dietary needs) must be made in writing. While we will try to accommodate them, they are not guaranteed.
You must inform us of any medical conditions or reduced mobility that may impact your trip at the time of booking; we may require a medical fitness confirmation from your doctor.
Travel Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with passport, visa, vaccination, and health regulations for all destinations. Failure to meet these requirements may result in denied travel and forfeiture of costs.
Accuracy of Website and Marketing
We take care to ensure accuracy; however, prices and information may change and errors may occur. Confirm all details at the time of booking. Errors & Omissions Excepted (E&OE).
Flights (Booking Guidance, Delays & Denied Boarding)
(a) Booking Guidance: Do not book non-refundable or inflexible flights until you have received written tour confirmation on or before the Official Confirmation Date.
(b) Airline Responsibility: Airlines are responsible for flight delays, cancellations, and denied boarding. Please liaise directly with your airline and your travel insurer for support. Legends Golf Tours is not liable for airline-related losses.
Assistance During Travel
If you encounter difficulties while travelling, contact us for assistance. We will offer support where reasonably possible but are not liable for additional expenses unless we are at fault.
Legal and Contact Information
These Terms are governed by South African law, with exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
